The Slate Collection brings together natural stone, traditional detailing and fine craftsmanship to create a clock with real presence and individuality. Cut from 20 mm natural riven slate, every dial has its own subtle variations in texture, tone and surface, ensuring that no two clocks are ever quite alike. Against the depth of the dark slate, the gilded Roman chapters and hands catch the light beautifully, giving the clock a warmth and richness that feels established rather than manufactured.

The Roman chapters are cast before being carefully prepared and finished in 23½ carat gold leaf, while the formed metal hands are gilded to match. Their raised profile creates depth and shadow across the face, bringing an architectural quality to the design and a level of character that printed decoration simply cannot achieve. At 1000 mm in diameter, the Slate clock is deliberately substantial, designed to command attention in a room while remaining restrained and elegant in its use of material and colour.

Although influenced by medieval clock design, the Slate Collection is not limited to traditional interiors. Its simple geometry, natural materials and understated palette allow it to work equally well in contemporary homes, hotels, restaurants and distinctive commercial spaces. Each numbered clock is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and engraved brass plaque, recording the individual details of the piece and the people involved in its creation.
